Built an AI-assisted proposal generation tool for a solo strategy consultant who was spending several hours drafting a custom proposal after every discovery call. The tool takes the consultant's raw call notes and generates a structured first-draft proposal — scope, timeline, and pricing options — formatted in the consultant's existing template and tone. The consultant reviews and edits every draft before sending; the tool is explicitly positioned as a first-pass writing aid, not an autonomous proposal-sender. We trained the prompt structure against a dozen of the consultant's best historical proposals so the output matched their actual voice rather than reading generically. A solo strategy consultant was spending several hours drafting a custom proposal after every discovery call, which delayed follow-up and risked losing momentum with hot leads.
